You need a referral letter from your GP or another BIG registered healthcare provider if you want to make use of partial reimbursement by your health insurance. The letter must contain 1) the AGB code of the healthcare provider, 2) your name, date of birth and BSN and 3) mention of specialist mental health care (sGGZ) and possibility of a DSM-5 diagnosis. The referral must also be addressed to my practice and provided with a signature and/or stamp of the referrer.
Another requirement is that I determine which diagnosis covers your complaints the best according to the criteria of the DSM-5 (Diagnostic and Statistic manual of Mental disorders). I will always include you in this process.
My practice is independent and I do not enter into any contracts with health insurances. This way I can provide a tailored treatment approach.
You will receive a monthly invoice from me that you can submit to your health insurance. How much you will be reimbursed depends on the insurance you have taken out. Each November a listing is published on de Contractvrije Psycholoog, where you can compare healthcare policies and reimbursements. My advice would be to find out what percentage of the costs are covered by your insurance and how much you must contribute prior to intake. Remember that you always pay your deductible (eigen risico) before you receive reimbursement from your insurance.
I provide various care services during treatment and these are each provided with a code and a corresponding rate. The most common services are intake and treatment. It is also necessary that I reflect on the course of our treatment through peer consultation. This happens at least once a year and of course completely anonymously. Peer consultation also has its own rate.

If the duration of a service deviates more than 15 minutes from the scheduled time, I will adjust the rate.
Not all complaints can be linked to a diagnosis that is eligible for partial reimbursement by health insurance. It is also possible that you want to enter psychotherapy treatment without any involvement from health insurance or other institutions. In such cases, the costs are entirely for your own account and a rate of € 125 per session applies.
